In this disturbing case, Dezsi represented two individuals who were wrongfully imprisoned for almost thirteen years for the brutal rape and kidnapping of a woman who had been found in Detroit in 1990.  Evidence later surfaced that implicated others of the crime, and there was evidence that the Warren Police Department withheld this information that  implicated others of the crimes.  In this civil rights action, Dezsi secured a major victory at the Sixth Circuit in a case that help define claims that could be brought against police officers for withholding favorable evidence. Following several court victories in the case, Dezsi helped secure multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of his clients.
